MECANICAL SKELETONS

Living in New Zealand, I am reminded constantly that I am alive in a period of change. This country is, compared to some, very young with the British only formally annexing it in 1840. It still has growing pains.

Old and discarded ‘stuff’ hasn’t been cleared up yet. Derelict houses are common and invariably if you look hard enough there will always be an old forgotten truck or car in the back paddock - a piece of history gradually fading away.

Obsolete but not forgotten.
